Our Parishes

St. Teresa’s

St. Teresa’s church is warm and friendly, welcoming parishioners and visitors from many parts of the world.  Our aim is to be a community in Heaton that uses its many gifts & talents together to praise God and love our neighbour.

We are involved in our local community through schemes such as the East Newcastle Foodbank and Urban Green as well as partnering with other local churches to support events like the Heaton Festival.

St. Lawrence’s

We are a small but growing parish rooted in the local community, many of us have lived here all our lives, others come from all corners of the globe.

We contribute to the community by collecting for the food bank in Byker, with our “reverse Advent calendar” and Lenten collections, and collect coats, etc for the homeless during winter.

In “normal times” we like to get together to chat over a cup of tea, craft activities, or bingo. We support one another in friendship and encourage you to join us.

Our Lady & St Vincent’s

Our Lady & St Vincent’s is situated on Monkchester Road in a very close-knit Community. Most of our parishioners go back a generation in both church & the school.

We do our best to make St Vincent’s a warm & welcoming place where people can pray & praise the Lord. We now have many parishioners from around the globe who play a big part in our parish.

Our aim is to make our church a place which draws in the youth and brings people back to their faith.
